A man told the Concord police that he was robbed at gunpoint near the State House yesterday afternoon. The robber was still at large last night.If you are a resident of New Hampshire and you haven't gotten your pistol/revolver permit then you should head down to your local police station to submit an application, you can download it here. The robber, who was last seen in the area of Capital Plaza and the Durgin parking garage, is described as a white man in his 20s, about 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8. He has a thin build and was wearing dark clothing and sun glasses, according to the Concord police.
The police received a call at about 1:55 yesterday afternoon and responded to Capitol Street. The victim said he was just about to enter his parked car when he was confronted by the robber.
The suspect showed a handgun during the robbery and demanded money from the victim, the police said. He made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, fleeing on foot. The victim was not physically injured during this incident.
