Mother-and-son Ron Paul supporters run for NH State House

Pam and Garrett Ean are both members of the NH Liberty Alliance. In any other State in the Union, they would both most likely be called "Libertarians". Here in New Hampshire, they're both running for NH State Representative, as Republicans. This article in the Concord Monitor is quite good.

From the article:
In the 2008 presidential primary, Garret Ean sported a bumper sticker for Republican Ron Paul. Pamela Ean, as chairwoman of the Concord City Republicans, cannot say whom she supported, but she praised Paul

Trivia: the Eans live just a few blocks away from me; I am proud to support their campaign. More on the creative ways I'm doing that in a later blog post....

Fascism vs Conservatism vs Libertarianism

This is the most bizarre statement I've seen from you yet, Denis. One who supports the drug war is not a libertarian. If she were running under the LP ticket, I'd be campaigning to revoke her membership.

Fascism vs Conservatism vs Libertarianism

Well, there's the LP today vs. the LP as it was 4 years ago...

You're right, Pam is not a big-L Libertarian. She is probably only as libertarian as Bob Barr was 6 months ago.

I would definitely say she has come much closer toward our position on the drug war in the time I have known her.
